Terms and Conditions for Training with MyPetGets
Please read these points carefully, failure to adhere to these terms may invalidate your agreement and you may be asked to leave the training programme without refund.
1/ MyPetGets reserves the right to refuse membership
2/ Do not copy, modify, share or otherwise plagiarise any documents without the consent of MyPetGets
3/ MyPetGets accepts no responsibility for any damage to property or person howsoever caused. You are responsible for your own dog and actions at all times, whether in class or outside of it.
4/Cancellations will result in loss of payment for that event. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for all classes, including those on a prepayment stamp basis. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be charged IN FULL.
5/ If you wish to bring a different dog please advise Jeni/Yvonne and their decision as to this change is final.
6/ Please be respectful to our members, to us and to your dog. Any threatening or abusive behaviour will be reported to the police and your membership will terminate with immediate effect.
7/ Please arrive at events or classes sober, no drinking during classes or events. Unless a special meet.
8/ No smoking on site. Please ensure you extinguish any cigarettes before you enter the training area and take the butt away with you (or put it in a bin) for the safety of all of our dogs.
9/ You should ensure you have suitable attire and equipment for the session, be aware that we may train outside.
10/ Advise the leader of your session if you or your dog have any medical changes since you filled in your ‘Welcome’ sheet
11/ Dogs showing aggression may be requested to be muzzled, or to leave the training session if that is deemed the safest action, your fee can be transferred to 1-2-1 sessions only.
12/ No children under the age of 12, we cannot provide child care facilities.
13/ Spectators welcome, one per dog.
14/ Unless advised pre paid fees are non transferrable or refundable.
15/ Photo’s and notes from sessions may be publicly posted for marketing and information purposes. Advise before joining if you would rather opt out.
16/ We are not training you to be a professional.
17/ During events or competitions Jeni or Yvonne’s decisions are final.
18/ PLEASE note no choke chains, prong collars, shock collars, spray collars, water sprays, extendable leads or chocolate drops. No equipment intended for punishment training will be permitted.
19/ Bitches in season are not to attend class environment until 1 week after bleeding stops completely. If your bitch is in season please contact Jeni before any session.
20/ All payments are due before the session start, we ask for payment a minimum of 48 hours before the session starts. Non-payment will result in non attendance by our professional.
21/ It is entirely the guardians responsibility to monitor their own dog(s) at all times, including with regard to the process/ issues discussed with Jeni/Yvonne and that the guardian should actively take any necessary steps/ precautions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of themselves, their dog, other people and other animals at all times.
Please sign on your welcome sheet to acknowledge you have read these terms and conditions and return to bookings@mypetgets.co.uk alternatively bring your sheet with you to your class or event. Completion of the welcome sheet indicates agreement to all of the above terms.
Privacy Policy:
Any details given to MyPetGets team members is not shared with or sold to third parties, we may share information internally when necessary. This means that a phone number given to your trainer can be accessed by our administrator in the case of cancellations. In some cases we will, with your permission, contact your vet to discuss your case although we do not share information with them as they will have your up to date details on their own files.
All details are securely stored on a GDPR compliant scheduling facility. These details are kept for the purpose of booking, confirming your booking and advising of any necessary cancellations or rescheduling of your appointment. No marketing is sent to any medium which have not actively signed up for our monthly newsletter. If at any time you would like your details to be removed from our system email bookings@mypetgets.co.uk with the subject heading ‘REMOVE DETAILS’.
